Effective date: October 1, 2026
This policy explains how Pool Time Pool & Spa (“Pool Time,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information on our website, https://www.pooltimepoolspa.com/. It applies only to information collected through this website, and it includes the disclosures California law requires.
Information we collect

When you submit our estimate form or contact us by email or phone, we collect the information you provide. This can include your contact details, the type of service you are interested in, the size of your pool, your preferred method of contact, and any message you write.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, cookies and similar technologies collect information about your device and your visit. This can include:
- Your IP address and approximate location
- Cookie and other online identifiers
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you view, links you click, and how you arrived at the site
- The date, time, and length of your visit
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and estimate requests, and to provide the services you ask for
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- To measure the performance of our marketing
- To show advertising on other platforms, if we choose to run it (see the Meta Pixel section below)
- To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations
Cookies and tracking technologies
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your browser or device. We use cookies and similar technologies from the following third parties.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to learn how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, time on site, device details, and approximate location, and it uses cookies to do so. Google processes this information on our behalf. You can learn how Google handles data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security tool from Cloudflare, Inc., to help protect our site from bots and automated abuse. Turnstile runs when you load a protected part of the site and checks whether you are a real person. To do this, it processes signals such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, and browser user-agent, along with the site key and the site it is running on. Cloudflare states that it cannot directly identify individuals from these signals.
Cloudflare processes these signals for us to detect and block bots. Cloudflare also uses them to improve its own bot detection, and for that purpose Cloudflare acts as the data controller. Cloudflare’s handling of this information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum, and Cloudflare’s use of cookies is described in its Cookie Policy.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. The pixel records visits and actions on our site, such as page views and form submissions, and sends that information to Meta together with identifiers such as your IP address and cookie data. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may connect this activity to your account.
We may use this data to measure the results of our advertising, to build audiences for retargeting, and to run ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta uses the information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook ad preferences.
Your cookie choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in these ways:
- Analytics and advertising providers. Google and Meta receive the online identifiers and activity information described above through their tools on our site.
- Service providers. Companies that help us operate and maintain the website may have access to information as needed to do that work.
- Security providers. Cloudflare receives the signals described above, such as your IP address, to detect and block bots.
- To fulfill your request. We share information with others when it is necessary to provide a service you asked for.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), gives you the following rights:
- Right to know. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we have disclosed it to.
- Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You can direct us not to sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Categories of personal information
| Category | Examples | Disclosed to |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, phone number, IP address, cookie IDs | Google and Meta (online identifiers only); service providers |
| Internet or network activity | Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, form submissions | Google and Meta |
| Geolocation (approximate) | City or region inferred from IP address | Google and Meta |
| Commercial information | Services you inquire about, pool size | Service providers, where needed to fulfill your request |
Sharing for advertising
Because the Meta Pixel may be used for retargeting and advertising, California law may treat this as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, email us at the address in the Contact section with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” You can also use the cookie and advertising controls described above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
How to make a request
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section. We will need enough information to confirm your identity, such as the name and email address you used when you contacted us. We respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time. You may also have an authorized agent submit a request for you, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.
Shine the Light
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents can ask which categories of personal information a business discloses to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, unless the law requires or allows a longer period. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove identifying details.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and access is limited to people who need it for their work. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, including our Facebook page. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Please check back periodically.
