Welcome to Pool Time Pool & Spa website. If you’re looking for a piece of equipment, tile, finish, lighting, water features, remodeling, pool building, pool safely nets, pool fences, decking, solar, automation, pool service, and pool repairs, you’ve come to a good place. Pool Time has been in the greater Sacramento area for well over 20 years and you’ve most likely seen our trucks out moving the men of Pool Time, who are servicing lots of pools in the Sacramento Area, and repairing others and building even more. We specialize in Sacramento including western Placer and western El Dorado Counties as well.
Pool Time is a local Sacramento pool contractor and service corporation. We belong to the Better Business Bureau and we get most of our work from referrals. You’ve most likely seen our trucks all over the Sacramento Metropolitan Area and you’ll see more. If you commute from Zinfandel east, you’ve probably seen our sign under a large billboard on the south side of Highway 50. We started in Carmichael at Robertson west of Fair Oaks Blvd., then to Gibbons Drive at Fair Oaks and then one year ago we moved from our formerly great but a bit too small location at the corner of El Camino Avenue on Fair Oaks Blvd. to a 20,000 sf. warehouse with large yard fronting Highway 50 at Sunrise in Gold River. We couldn’t pass up such an opportunity as we had to get this large facility! We have a large warehouse and this is where we receive your chemicals, equipment, nets, plaster, computer equipment, plumbing, electrical, finishes, fire pots, umbrellas, fences and grout and where we do the general accounting with office and project management. We use specialized pool business software to keep track of pool routes, accounting, pool building and pool design. We’ll be setting up the new location with working demo pools and spas with all the goodies to show you, the customer just as we had on Fair Oaks Blvd. with our fountain. We just need to squeeze that in with building new pools and doing remodels for others.
There are few companies like Pool Time. Pool Time sits with you in the Living Room and designs the pool on a laptop, and then follows through so that the pool you see on the laptop is the pool that ends up in the backyard, front yard or in the living room. Once that pool is designed, built and filled with water, we can be there to service that pool forever, or you can buy a test kit and pour chemicals in the pool and teach your children how to do it for you.. It’s up to you. We don’t push you either way. If you want to learn how to program your automated pool/spa/solar/cover/waterfalls/ lights/pool sweep we can setup the WiFi to connect to your home network. We’ll also do safety fences, and nets.
If you’re a future customer, call us at 916-638-POOL and get 3 months free pool service for your first year. That works out to be 25% off your first year and with no contract.
Some folks think their backyard could be better utilized but live with it spring after spring. They don’t realize that with a bulldozer we can make that backyard anything you want it to be and in as little as a month you can have a new swimming pool sitting in the backyard. One month is VERY optimistic and we don’t see it that often, but it can and does happen. We can remodel the existing pool by adding steps, adding jets, adding and removing lights, change the decking to tile or concrete, change the finish to a nice pebble bottom, or worse case take it out and put in another in a completely different location! You can have nice quiet pumps, solar heating, waterfalls, water laminars, bubblers, LED lights, fire pots, fire pits, and your spa will have high pressure water and air bubbles warmed to the perfect temperature at the time you choose, and all of this controlled by computer and transmitted to WiFi and you can access on your Apple, Google, Linux or Microsoft devices. We work with landscapers and help you with proper plant placement to complete the backyard, so you can enjoy the pool year round and don’t have the wrong plants and trees for a pool, and if you do, have a pool cover to mitigate that situation. We can deal with your high-end BBQ and external spa if that’s what you have and that’s what you want. We can move things around and make power and gas available where it’s convenient. That’s Joe Pagluica there at the Cal Expo Home and Garden Show speaking about pool finishes. He’s the skipper of Pool Time and he’s the busiest man I know, but Don is right there with him as are many more at Pool Time. No slackers here except maybe that webmaster. If you have a pool but no spa, we can also add that to a remodel!
If you need help with financing, we’re working with Lyon Financial to help get you the money you need to put in this water wonder. Give them a call at 877-754-5966 or visit their website. You can fill out an application on this link and be approved in no time and ready for the Spring construction! It’s like any real estate transaction, you fill out an application and sign. They do a credit report and background investigation, you get approved, you sign and all kinds of legal stuff gets recorded and you sign our paperwork and you write checks or the bank writes checks and magically the pool gets built. Our friends at Lyon Financial can help you with that portion. https://www.lyonfinancial.net/apply/dealer_application
The pool business is like a large family in Sacramento. People move around. We’re hiring. If you’re a seasoned pool designer, subcontractor, general office worker, project manager, pool service technician, graphic arts, send an anonymous resume and/or letter of interest and maybe we can talk about Pool Time and You. Send that resume directly to Joe at email@example.com. That’s his personal email. Don does a magnificent job of designing pools and if you want one of the best in the business to design your pool, you’re making a good decision. Don can still hand draw backyards and pools…He’s a true artist while being able to know what needs to happen for an idea to turn into a reality in the shortest time frame. He and his wife live in Del Dayo Estates. Pool building runs in his blood. Pool Time has a good energy around it with seasoned pool people from Sacramento and even some from other places too. Come join us.
A Day at Pool Time:
We get started after 6 in the morning and most are going by 7:15. The security cameras go from infra-red to color as the lights come on for either Joe or Brian as they always lead the pack. Our Service Manager, Brian is usually the first to show up at 6:45 while Joe may or may not have been there earlier each day. In the back, Oscar and Hector and others are getting equipment and chemicals ready for the day. Brian prints out the routes and repairs and gets the guys out before sunrise cleaning pools, adding chemicals, and keeping an eye out for any issues. Joe and Don lead the pool builders as they prepare for a full day of everything from digging to plastering. Nina’s here at 7am sharp and helps coordinate the guys as they head out to do repairs, installations, remodels, chemicals, cleaning. Once Hector and the guys are in the field (7:15), Don and Joe talk to people all day long when they’re not designing pools, dealing with a government agency, keeping status of a pool build or whatnot or contacting you. Tristen does project management and plans and costs jobs
and does video and post production in the marketing department. Nina works with supply and demand and “on time” projects. She also runs the purchasing department and deals with vendors. She works with Tristen and the sales staff to keep the project on time and on budget and on time as best as
possible. Don, Joe, Lisa, and Justin have designed and installed some beautiful pools and gorgeous remodels, and placed them ideally for the environment and the enjoyment. Tristen specializes in remodels and has a full start to finished video he will post here on a special page for remodels. Tommy and Florenzio are out artistically laying the beautiful tile. Eileen answers the phone, does accounting, scheduling, and helping with any issue
that needs attention. She deals with credit and banking issues. Rebecca does special assignments and projects and has a strong marketing background. She’s working on getting us to communicate with you on a more regular basis and you can sign up for our newsletter once we get the new software completed. She brings us a taste of successful corporate America. The software she’s using is I-Contact.
Joe’s son Joey works here. He’s learning the business the way his father Joe did…servicing pools and now repairs with Fred, after spending over a year cleaning and servicing pools. He graduated from Rio Americano. Fred does repairs. Fred’s gone from dawn to dusk repairing pools. Joe inspects pools and deals with corporate issues and is one of the busiest men I’ve ever seen. Joe keeps track of everything and his desk is perfectly arranged with paperwork in a system that he uses that makes sure that the business continues. He’s organized, dedicated, and enthusiastic. He is personable and a joy to be around. He has a smile for every occasion. Joe Pooltime is what they call Joe, and you can still email him at his original aol account firstname.lastname@example.org. That’s his personal account.
Is Pool Time perfect? Does Pool Time make mistakes? No…but people sometimes do and if that happens we want to make things right for all concerned, quickly, so you can say you had a good experience with us and we can do the same about you. Otherwise we wouldn’t have made it over 20 years. We have 23 trucks in the Sacramento Area and that means that at least 23 families rely on our company. Some of our trucks carry 4 men. We started with 1 truck. Our payroll is approaching 50 right now. Fifty families rely on Pool Time and even more…you who are having a pool built, serviced, or you who are our friends at Swimming Pool Corporation (SPC), Katch-A-Kid, All-Safe, Wells Fargo, the many many Realtors, StoneScapes, Sta-Rite, Pentair, Jandy, Matsubu, West Host, and even our deal friends who issue the precious permits and inspect the pools. And who can forget AT&T, Comcast, IRS, Board of Equalization, Franchise Tax Board, and SMUD and the big one…DMV.
We’re expecting to build a record number of pools this year and service a record number of those that we didn’t build. Joe, there to the left does ALL of the pool inspections. Joe brings his 25 years of experience to inspect the pool for a real estate closing or other reason. He charges $185 and you can email him at mailto://email@example.com You’ll get a written inspection signed by a contractor licensed with the State Of California …Here’s the link for inspections: http://www.pooltimepoolspa.com/?p=1976
